How will I know if my order has been received successfully?

At the end of your shopping experience the final page will thank you for your order. Within a couple of minutes you will receive an order confirmation from us. Please check that all of the details on this confirmation are correct.

What are your delivery timescales and charges?

Assuming that everything you have ordered is in stock then it usually takes five working days for your order to reach you. We offer FREE delivery on all our orders worth £4.95 and can offer an Express Delivery Service which starts from an extra £4.99.

How do I pay for my order on-line?

You can pay for your order on line with a valid debit or credit card. We accept Switch/Mastercard/Visa/Solo/Visa Electron. Sorry we do not accept American Express. Authorisation of your card will be taken at point of order but money will not leave your account until the goods are despatched from our warehouse. The payment will appear on your statement

Do we offer credit facilities?

Sorry we are not able to offer this service. All orders are to be paid for at point of order.

Do you despatch outside UK?

Yes we do. Please note - We are unable to offer free returns on overseas orders. We are happy for any overseas order to be returned but we do ask that whoever is returning the order cover the cost of the return postage to our warehouse and please retain proof or postage.

What do I do if I have not received my order within the stated time?

How do I cancel or alter an order made on line?

Once your order has been confirmed, to cancel or change your order in any way you will need to call one of our Enquiry Line Operators on 0871 911 7028 option 2, who can alter the details of your order so long as it hasn't yet been despatched. What is the 30 day guarantee / returns policy ?

We are so confident that you will be delighted with your purchase of Treads shoes that we offer a 30-day no quibble quarantee on every item (worn, unworn it matters not). So if for any reason you are not totally happy with any item you purchase from us, simply return it to us within 30 days and we will refund you in full.

Please be sure to obtain a certificate of posting and insure your returned parcel - we cannot be held liable for losses without this.

Can I exchange my items for a different size/colour ?

If I have returned items for an exchange, when can I expect my replacement parcel?

Replacements are usually processed within 14 days of the parcel being returned to us.

What is the width fitting of your shoes?

All Treads shoes come with dual fit technology – This allows you to customise your fit easily. All treads shoes come as a standard F/G fitting with the option of removing the dual-fit eva undersock to provide a wider G/H fit. Perfect when you need a little extra room.

Do we offer half sizes on shoes ?

We only currently offer full sizes, however Treads dual fit technology has been specifically designed to allow feet to grow. By simply removing the undersock you can adjust the fit – perfect for growing feet.

Do we offer discount on multiple orders?

We think Treads shoes represent exceptional value for money and so regretfully we are unable to offer further discounts.

Can you polish Treads shoes?

All treads shoes are made from premium Permair leather which is breathable and water resistant. Although the shoes have been designed to be low maintenance with a wipe clean surface there are things you can do to prolong the longevity. The best way to keep your leather shoes in tip-top condition is to try and prevent them from getting wet!

Do not polish a damp shoe. Dry them first by stuffing them with newspaper. Do not leave near a radiator or any heat to speed this up. Be sure to let the soles get some air so they can dry properly. Once they’re nearly dry, replace the newspaper with a shoe tree to help further maintain their shape. For salt stains mix one cup of water and one tablespoon of white vinegar. Soak a cotton ball with the mixture and wipe it over the stains.

To polish wipe your shoes down with a damp cloth to remove superficial dirt and stains, then wet a welt brush and scrub out the entire welt strip. Apply polish, using a circular rubbing motion. Don’t put too much on – you’ll only have to remove it later! Work the polish into the leather, the more you rub, the better. Let the polish dry. It should take about ten minutes. Buff the entire shoe with a polishing brush. For extra gleam, hold the shoe between your knees and buff the toe vigorously with a lint-free cloth

What leather is used to produce Treads Shoes?

All of our leather shoes are made from premium permair leather TM. Permair leather is real leather with the added benefit of a unique microporous finish, allowing feet to breathe more naturally in comfort and providing a layer of protection that guards against stains and water.

Which size do I pick?

Once you have measured your foot, simply add your results to our online size calculator. This will give you best fit from our size range. If for example you are a size 8 you should order 7.5-8 or if you are an 8.5, you should opt for the 8.5-9.
